Left Behind

My theme is abandonment, specifically focusing on abandoned homes. I took a series of abstract photographs of an abandonment home, located in Danvers Massachusetts. From the inspiration of these photographs I wrote a series of poetry also relating to the subject of abandonment. I wanted to bring imagination and new life to places that are usually forgotten about. By combining the photographs with the poetry it gives the abandoned home meaning again.
